Tennis is not so populair in my city. Even there are some tennis square, but the number one sport is soccer. We have big soccer stadium. Almost monthly there is competition, local level or national league. And you see when look the soccer competition, all the audience always yell strong, sing together, and sometime spreat out the flag of the soccer team. It’s very different when we look the tennis competition. The audience is just keep silence when the competition is proceed. They just give applaus when the tennis player get point. After that they keep silence again. Very strange for me, because there is no merrymaking. What do you think about this?

tennis is altogether diff frm football...durin tennis play, the audience hav to be silent coz the results are short-termed and also many...there r so many points to be played in tennis to win a match. So it goes like when the play is in progress be silent and cheer only after the point is attained by any of the players. however in football the results r far and few hence the audience keep cheering the whole time.... Also one likes to enjoy tennis by keepin silent durin the game play.Although the trend is changin durin the US & Aus open where crowd chants have increased ovr the years
