What do you call SOCCER in Mexico?

A) Futbol
B) Soccer
C) Futbol soccer

I have these two Mexican friends and one of them is telling me that it's called futbol soccer and the other one is telling me that it's just futbol. He says soccer doesn't make any sense and is not even a spanish word. So now I don't know because they both seem very sure.

Well some Mexicans call it soccer cause they've lived in the united states for a long time and are turning white wash you know.But Mexicans that live in Mexico call it Futbol.Soccer is what Americans call it not Mexicans..

Americans use the word soccer, and yeah some Mexicans here in the US call it soccer because they live here and got used to the Word. but in Mexico they will laugh at you if you call it soccer.

I think Canada uses the term soccer also, dont they??? I don't know why we(American, I am american) call it soccer. To avoid confusion with American football? American football should have been called something else.

They call the league "Futbol de la liga Mexicana" League of mexican soccer

Soccer is used in the USA

Futbol soccer is used in spanglish terms

Football is used in England

we mexicans call it futbol, just futbol

futbol, soccer is only in the USA, in the rest of the world its futbol or football
