i'd advise giving him a refund and getting the pup back, because he might not be so careful as to who he sells the little one to, when my dog had puppies some guy bought three and turned around and sold two of them, but he sold them to some random people that lived by him, the people ended up leaving the puppies tied up in their backyard and never paid any attention to them.

YOU bred the litter.

It is up to YOU to find responsible homes for the pups.

A good breeder will ALWAYS accept (demand, actually ... it should've been in the sales contract) a returned pup, at any age, at any time, for any reason. It is never OK for someone else to sell one of your pups. Do whatever you have to do to get that puppy back and be a little more particular about whom you sell those pups to.

And spay your dog, PLEASE.

Generally when you deal with any dog adoption organization or breeder their policy is that the dog can be returned for full refund within the first two weeks for any reason (health, doesn't get along with another dog, too hard to care for, etc.) so I would suggest giving a refund.

Umm...I'd say it doesn't matter, since you are clearly selling puppies without even attempting to screen their homes. Now might be a good time to start. He'll be on his third home and he's less than several months old. You do realize this is a live animal, correct? And he wants and needs a good, responsible owner? Hint: The clown who took 2 of them doesn't qualify.

I'd take it back, give him a refund and find a new home for the puppy myself. He may not think about how well the other person will care for the puppy like you would. I would want to do what is best for the pup and I say I'd feel better knowing I picked my pups new home.

Yes you should take back the dog because if the person sells it to some-one that you don't know that person could harm the dog or do something that is cruel to the dog. you should refund the money and keep the dog or sell it to some-one that you know will want to keep the dog.

Yes, take him back. He should of knew what he wanted before he purchases this dog. If not, are you sure this puppy will get a good home? Can you live with the fact that if he does sell it and not do his research on the person he sells it too, will this dog have a good loving home? I would take that puppy back. That is messed up man.

Take it back. Don't you care where that other puppy ends up? Reputable breeders keep track of what they produced, and they sure as heck do NOT sell two puppies to the *average Joe* pet home. I won't even give you my opinion on the refund part. You obviously don't have a contract.

A reputable breeder will ALWAYS take back their pups if the owner cannot keep it. So YES - take back the pup and refund the money.

IMO you never should have sold two puppies to the same household - most all reputable breeders will not do this.

A reputable breeder's contract contains a clause that a pup must be returned to the breeder. I don't believe that you are required to refund all of his money, just depends on how your contract is written up. Reputable breeders will NOT sell two pups to someone.
